ATA Recruitment Ltd has partnered with a leading UK retailer to recruit a Maintenance Engineer for their large distribution facility. The role offers a base salary of £52,142 plus a bonus of up to 5% and a 13% pension with private healthcare.

The successful candidate will work a Panama days and nights shift, with opportunities to develop into specialist positions within a massive engineering function.

Qualifications

• A time-served apprenticeship or a level 3 qualification in either electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Proven experience in a similar electro‑mechanical engineering field.
• Ideally experience within automation - not essential

Responsabilités

• Ensuring the smooth running of the factory, by performing reactive and planned maintenance work.
• Electrical fault-finding as well as mechanical fault-finding.
• Taking ownership of looking after the workshop, ensuring all the tools are correctly stored as well as ordering new stock when necessary.
• Raising continuous improvement initiatives to enhance OEE and Reliability.
• Ability to carry out maintenance tasks whilst working at height.
• The ideal candidate will have a multi-skilled skillset.

About the company:

We are partnering with one of the biggest retail brands in the UK, an established high street retailer who produce a turnover of over 7 billion. This site is their main warehouse/distribution facility and are a household name across the UK.

Our client is facing heavy investment across their facility, improving existing infrastructure with new conveying systems, automation systems and site improvements

As well as this, you would be part of a huge Engineering function across a million square foot site who are looking to add to the team.

About the role

This is an opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a massive business within the automation/distribution sector. Due to good company performance, the opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer has arisen. The successful Maintenance Engineer will have the opportunity to grow into specialist positions.
