Hunter Selection Ltd is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a Coventry facility. You will perform planned preventive maintenance on production assets, diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, and drive reliability improvements to minimise downtime.

The role suits hands-on engineers who can work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with days Mon-Fri and an early finish on Fridays, a salary of £36,000–£40,000 and 23 days holiday plus bank holidays and discounts.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to diagnose basic electrical control faults.
• Experience interpreting technical drawings, maintenance manuals or engineering documentation.
• Fabrication and welding experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventive maintenance activities across a range of production assets.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Supporting equipment upgrades, modifications and improvement projects.
• Completing maintenance documentation and updating electronic maintenance records.
• Identifying recurring issues and contributing to long-term reliability improvements.
• Assisting with equipment installation, refurbishment and general engineering projects.
• Monitoring spare parts usage and supporting stock control activities.
• Working closely with operational teams to maintain efficient plant performance.

An established UK-based manufacturer is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team at a production facility in Coventry.

Working within a small engineering department, you'll play a key role in supporting site operations, ensuring equipment reliability and driving continuous improvements across the plant.
