Yolk Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in Carmarthen to keep production running efficiently in a well-established food manufacturing environment. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across a range of equipment, ensuring uptime and safety.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills, a proactive maintenance approach, and a background in food production. Permanent, full-time position with regular daytime hours.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

£38,000 per annum

What You'll Do:

Join a well-established food manufacturing business as part of a close-knit engineering team, helping to keep production running efficiently and safely.

In this role, you'll:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of food production equipment
• Support continuous improvement activities to minimise downtime
• Diagnose and resolve both mechanical and electrical faults
• Work on packing lines, processing equipment and ovens
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure operational performance targets are achieved
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and engineering compliance

What You'll Bring:

• Experience working as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a food manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
• A genuine multi-skilled background, although candidates with an electrical bias are encouraged to apply
• Practical engineering experience that demonstrates your capability, regardless of qualification level
• A proactive approach to maintenance and problem-solving
• Comfortable working within a food production environment involving beef-based products
