Job summary

Ruth Wagstaff Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a market leading food manufacturing site in Coventry. The role focuses on delivering hands-on electrical maintenance to keep production running, with 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, days and nights.

You will perform reactive and planned maintenance, keep CMMS records, and work with production to hit performance goals while adhering to safety standards. The package includes a strong salary and benefits with progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Time-served/apprenticeship-trained engineer.
• Strong electrical skillset.
• Relevant engineering qualifications (C&G/NVQ Level 3 or ONC/HNC preferred)

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on engineering support to keep production running smoothly.
• Perform both reactive and planned maintenance on plant and equipment.
• Keep maintenance records up to date using CMMS system.
• Work closely with production to meet daily performance goals.
• Follow safety and repair best practices at all times.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives

Shift Pattern:

• 4 on 4 off Shifts Days and Nights (12 hour) 06.:30 and 18 30 (blocks of 4)
