Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group is recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) to join a manufacturing client in Bradford.

The role focuses on carrying out PPMs and reactive maintenance across a wide range of production equipment, with emphasis on electrical bias. You will engage with management and site teams to resolve production issues and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• NVQ/ONC Level 3 (or equivalent) in Maintenance Engineering.
• Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role within manufacturing/ automated environments.
• Strong background in planned preventive maintenance and breakdown response.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdowns across production equipment.
• Develop preventative maintenance for site machinery and equipment.
• Communicate with management and site personnel about production issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement with recommendations.
• Repair equipment when required and liaise with contractors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) – Manufacturing

• 22 days standard annual leave (+1 at 2 years service, +1 at 5 years service)

Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns across a wide range of production related equipment.
• Engage in and develop preventative planned maintenance (PPM) of all site machinery and equipment
• Communicate with management, supervisors, team leaders and site personnel regarding production issues
• Look at continuous improvement (CI) and provide recommendations
• Responsible for repairs of all equipment when required.
• Liaise with contractors and suppliers
• Ensure compliance to all aspects of the company health and safety policy

What We’re Looking For:

• NVQ/ONC Level 3 (or equivalent) in Maintenance Engineering
• Proven experience in a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role within manufacturing/automated environments
• Strong background in PPMs and breakdown response
