Job summary

SRG is recruiting for a Maintenance Planning Engineer based in Redditch on a permanent basis. The role blends maintenance administration with hands-on mechanical engineering support to maintain equipment performance and minimize downtime.

You will manage schedules, coordinate spare parts, support preventative programmes and contribute to improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
• Experience maintaining a variety of production equipment.
• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing maintenance schedules, documentation and records.

As the Maintenance Planning Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining equipment performance, reducing downtime and ensuring maintenance activities are effectively planned, documented and executed.

This role offers a blend of maintenance administration and hands‑on mechanical engineering support.
