Job summary

SRG in Redditch is seeking a Maintenance Planning Engineer on a permanent basis. You will coordinate maintenance schedules, manage records, and support both hands‑on mechanical work and maintenance administration.

The role focuses on reducing downtime, improving equipment performance, maintaining SOPs and technical documentation, and collaborating with internal teams and external service providers to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Engineering apprenticeship, HNC, HND or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Experience maintaining a variety of production equipment.
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.

SRG are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Planning Engineer on a permanent basis, based in Redditch. As the Maintenance Planning Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining equipment performance, reducing downtime and ensuring maintenance activities are effectively planned, documented and executed.

This role offers a blend of maintenance administration and hands‑on mechanical engineering support.
