Job summary

Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join its busy production facility in Coventry. The role focuses on hands-on maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and continuous improvements across the plant.

You will work within a small engineering team, supporting site operations, diagnosing faults, and driving improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to diagnose basic electrical control faults.
• Experience interpreting technical drawings, maintenance manuals or engineering documentation.
• Fabrication and welding experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance across production assets.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Support equipment upgrades, modifications and improvement projects.
• Complete maintenance documentation and update electronic maintenance records.
• Identify recurring issues and contribute to long-term reliability improvements.
• Assist with equipment installation, refurbishment and general engineering projects.
• Monitor spare parts usage and support stock control activities.
• Work closely with operational teams to maintain efficient plant performance.
