Job summary

Stirling Warrington is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a Coventry site. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing chain and belt conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, safety circuits, ABB robots, and Siemens S7 PLC systems.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in an industrial maintenance environment with a mechanical or electrical bias. The role operates three nights per week (Wednesday to Friday) and offers overtime paid at 1.5x and a weekly production bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a maintenance engineer in an industrial environment.
• Level 3 Qualification of some form in engineering/maintenance (NVQ, City and Guilds, HNC, Indentured Apprenticeship)
• Knowledge of Siemens PLC systems would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of chain and belt driven conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, 415/24v safety circuits, ABB Robots, Siemens S7 PLC systems.
• Work with night shift two on the night shift; role is not lone work.

We are looking to a multi skilled maintenance engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias to join our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Coventry. Boasting one of the cleanest environments in all of industrial manufacturing we are market leaders in manufacturing of our bespoke products. We are a family run business who have been in operation for over 60 years, boasting an impressive annual turnover in excess of £30m, we have reinvested this success into our workforce with training on our bespoke machinery as well as brand new machinery in our constantly expanding site. Your main roles and responsibilities will be maintenance and repair of chain and belt driven conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, 415/24v safety circuits, ABB Robots, Siemens S7 PLC systems. Knowledge of this machinery would be beneficial but is not a dealbreaker. You will be part of a shift of two on the night shift, so the role is not lone work.

Experience Required

• Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer 60:40 either bias is essential for this role.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a maintenance engineer in an industrial environment
• Level 3 Qualification of some form in engineering/maintenance (NVQ, City and Guilds, HNC, Indentured Apprenticeship)
• Knowledge of Siemens PLC systems would be beneficial.
