Job summary

INDSW is seeking a maintenance engineer in Hinckley, Leicestershire, offering £52,000 per year. The role features double daytime shifts (6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm) with no nights or weekends.

You will maintain CNC drilling machines, automated bandsaws, presses, shrink wrappers, and conveyors, using Siemens S7/Allen Bradley controls. The position rewards a strong multi-skilled background (60:40/70:30 mechanical/electrical), CNC experience is a plus, and a Level 3 maintenance qualification is required.

Qualifications

• Multiskilled is essential for this role with roughly 60:40/70:30 mechanical to electrical bias.
• CNC experience is highly beneficial for this position.
• Ability to fault find and read electrical and mechanical schematics is essential.
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in maintenance (NVQ, City and Guilds, HNC/D) is required.

Responsibilities

• Reactive and planned maintenance on CNC drilling machines, automated bandsaws, presses, shrink wrappers and conveyors.

We are looking for a multi skilled maintenance engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias to join our family run business based in Hinckley. We are a well-established business in the local area manufacturing high end consumer products.

We have made £3m worth of investments in brand new machinery including a brand new revamp to our workshop area. We are a small team of 3 engineers, with lots of long standing employees amongst the maintenance team.

Day to day responsibilities would be reactive and planned maintenance on CNC Drilling machines, Automated Bandsaws, Presses, Shrink Wrappers, and Conveyors. Our process is a mix of manual and automated processes running mainly on Siemens S7 and Allen Bradley control systems.

The Successful Engineer

• Multi Skilled is essential for this role, must be roughly 60:40/70:30 Mechanical or Electrical bias
