Job summary

Stirling Warrington is seeking a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical or electrical bias to join our Leicester site. You’ll carry out planned and reactive maintenance on assembly lines, test and calibration equipment, conveyors, cranes and other plant facilities.

We offer double-day shifts, a salary of £42,500–£44,720, a substantial annual bonus, 18 days holiday plus bank holidays, a 12.5% pension, and extensive training opportunities including NVQ Level 3 and 18th edition.

Qualifications

• Multiskilled engineer with mechanical or electrical bias (roughly 60:40).
• Pneumatics and hydraulics knowledge advantageous.
• PLC knowledge helpful.
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding experience required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on 3 assembly lines.
• Maintain test and calibration equipment, air tools, spindles, jigs and conveyors.
• Oversee overhead and jib cranes and general plant facilities.
• Support continuous improvement and safe working practices.

Leicester (West)

£42,500 - £44,720

Double Days (6am - 2pm Mon - Fri) (2pm - 12am Mon - Thurs) - No Friday Afternoons (inclusive of one Saturday 6:00-12:00 per month)

We are looking for a multi skilled maintenance engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias (Roughly 60:40 either mech/elec) to join our small team of 4 long standing maintenance engineers at our manufacturing site in Leicester.

The Successful Engineer

• Multi skilled maintenance engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias.
• Pneumatics & Hydraulics knowledge advantageous
• PLC knowledge
• Qualified ideally to NVQ/ City and Guilds L3, however applicants with Level 2 qualifications are still encouraged to apply where there is evidence of experience
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding
• Previous experience in manufacturing would be beneficial but not a dealbreaker
• Attitude to get stuck in
