Job summary
Project Start Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician for a Birmingham-based role delivering PPM, reactive maintenance, fault finding and testing across commercial properties.
You will join a team supporting a nationwide client base with a 1-in-4 callout rota and a competitive benefits package. The position pays £42,000–£44,000 per year and requires full UK driving licence.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Electrical Installation or equivalent is required.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations knowledge is essential.
- 2391 Inspection & Testing is ESSENTIAL.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative electrical maintenance (PPM).
- Attend reactive maintenance and electrical breakdowns.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults.
- Complete electrical repairs and minor installation works.
- Carry out inspection and testing of electrical installations.
- Maintain lighting, emergency lighting and electrical distribution systems.
- Fault-find on electrical control systems and associated equipment.
