Job summary

Calibre Search is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to cover Wimbledon and South London sites, performing electrical maintenance across retail facilities, with a strong electrical background and NVQ/SVQ Level 3 and 18th edition.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical background with NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or equivalent.

• Ability to perform building maintenance tasks in addition to electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Support other technicians with major or minor maintenance tasks.
• Complete all necessary PPMs and reactive maintenance within timescales.
• Prioritise and complete minor maintenance and repair work to deadlines.
• Ensure tools and equipment are available and serviceable.
• Attend other sites within the cluster when required.
• Maintain quality standards and professional conduct with clients and colleagues.
• Record live updates in the Mercury system accurately.

Mobile covering South London and Central London including areas like: Wimbledon, Earlsfield, Merton, Colliers Wood, Dulwich, Streatham, Purley

Ideal candidate location: Wimbledon or any nearby areas

Salary / Package

(If based inside M25) Basic Salary £42883 + £2535 = £45418 total

(If based outside M25) Basic salary £41391 + £2535 = £43926 total

Mon-Fri 40hrs

Travel time paid after first 30m at overtime rate

Overtime

Call Out - 1 in 4 weeks

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join one of the country's leading Facilities Management companies working in the South / Central London region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background and hold electrical qualifications such as NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or maintenance (or equivalent) and 18th edition as a minimum.

The role will be working as part of a team working at a number of retail sites in the region undertaking a range of building maintenance duties. The role will primarily be electrical maintenance though will also include general building maintenance such as minor plumbing / fabric work.

Duties

• Support other technicians with any major or minor maintenance work.
• Complete all necessary PPM's and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and as required.
• Prioritising and completing minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
• Ensuring all tools and equipment necessary to complete minor maintenance and repairs are always available and serviceable.
• Although aligned to an area for the purpose of PPM completion there may be times that the Technician will be required to attend other sites within the cluster to carry out work.
• Work with company and client colleagues to ensure laid-down standards of quality are always maintained.
• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times and develop a good working relationship with client and colleagues.
• Carry out all tasks in accordance with specific KPI's.
• Monitor and update the Mercury system accurately ensuring live job updates from you and your team at all times.

• NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations / parts 1 & 2
• Or recognized apprenticeship equivalent
• 18th Edition
