Job summary

Calibre Search is helping to recrut a Maintenance Electrician for Wembley and surrounding areas in North West London. The role involves working in a leading Facilities Management environment, focusing on electrical and mechanical maintenance across multiple retail sites.

The ideal candidate will hold NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations (or parts 1 & 2) and 18th Edition, with readiness to travel within the region. A strong commitment to safety and quality is essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations / parts 1 & 2.
• 18th Edition qualification.
• Or recognised apprenticeship equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance on retail sites.
• Complete PPMs and reactive maintenance within timescales with accurate paperwork.
• Prioritise and complete minor maintenance and repairs to agreed timescales.
• Ensure tools and equipment are available and serviceable.
• Occasionally work at other sites within the cluster as required.
• Maintain quality standards in collaboration with colleagues and client.
• Represent the company professionally and build good client relationships.
• Perform tasks in line with KPI targets and update Mercury system accurately.

Maintenance Electrician / Multi-skilled Engineer (Electrical and Mechanical) - Wembley and surrounding areas in North West London

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join one of the country's leading Facilities Management companies working in Wembley

Ideal candidate location: Wembley or surrounding areas in North West London

The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background and hold electrical qualifications such as NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or maintenance, and 18th edition as a minimum.

This Maintenance Electrician role will involve working at a number of retail sites in the region undertaking a range of building maintenance duties. The purpose of this role will be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment. Mechanical maintenance will be a significant portion of the role however full training will be provided.

Duties

• Support other technicians with any major or minor maintenance work.
• Complete all necessary PPM's and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and as required.
• Prioritising and completing minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
• Ensuring all tools and equipment necessary to complete minor maintenance and repairs are always available and serviceable.
• Although aligned to an area for the purpose of PPM completion there may be times that the Technician will be required to attend other sites within the cluster to carry out work.
• Work with company and client colleagues to ensure laid-down standards of quality are always maintained.
• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times and develop a good working relationship with client and colleagues.
• Carry out all tasks in accordance with specific KPI's.
• Monitor and update the Mercury system accurately ensuring live job updates from you and your team at all times.

Salary / Package

• If based inside M25: Basic salary + standby = £46918 (Composed of: Basic £42883 + £2535 in standby payments + £1500 competency payment added to salary after completion of catering training)
• If based outside M25: Basic salary standby £45426 (Composed of Basic £41391 + £2535 in standby payments + £1500 competency payment added to salary after completion of catering training)
• Mon-Fri 40hrs
• Travel time paid after first 30m at overtime rate
• Overtime 1.5x Monday to Friday, 2x Saturday and Sunday
• Call Out - 1 in 4 weeks
