Job summary

Calibre Search is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to service Woking, Weybridge and surrounding Home Counties sites. The role focuses on electrical and mechanical maintenance across retail locations with full training provided for mechanical tasks.

The ideal candidate has NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations, 18th Edition, and a strong electrical background. The package includes a company vehicle, private health care, and generous holiday allowance.

Qualifications

• NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or maintenance or equivalent apprenticeship.
• 18th Edition wiring regulations completed.
• Experience in building/facilities maintenance environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Complete PPMs and reactive maintenance within agreed timescales with accurate paperwork.
• Prioritise minor maintenance and repairs to agreed timescales.
• Ensure tools and equipment are available and serviceable.
• Occasional travel to other sites within the cluster to perform work.
• Maintain quality standards and professional liaison with clients and colleagues.
• Update Mercury system with live job updates for the team.

Maintenance Electrician / Multi-skilled Engineer (Electrical and Mechanical) - Woking / Weybridge and the Home Counties

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join one of the country's leading Facilities Management companies working in Woking, Weybridge and the surrounding areas in the Home Counties.

Ideal candidate location: Woking / Weybridge or close areas

The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background and hold electrical qualifications such as NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or maintenance, and 18th edition as a minimum.

This Maintenance Electrician role will involve working at a number of retail sites in the region undertaking a range of building maintenance duties. The purpose of this role will be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment. Mechanical maintenance will be a significant portion of the role however full training will be provided.

Duties

• Support other technicians with any major or minor maintenance work.
• Complete all necessary PPM's and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and as required.
• Prioritising and completing minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
• Ensuring all tools and equipment necessary to complete minor maintenance and repairs are always available and serviceable.
• Although aligned to an area for the purpose of PPM completion there may be times that the Technician will be required to attend other sites within the cluster to carry out work.
• Work with company and client colleagues to ensure laid-down standards of quality are always maintained.
• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times and develop a good working relationship with client and colleagues.
• Carry out all tasks in accordance with specific KPI's.
• Monitor and update the Mercury system accurately ensuring live job updates from you and your team at all times.

• Or recognized apprenticeship equivalent

Salary / Package

• Basic salary + standby = 44308
• (Composed of basic 40273 + Standby payments of 2535 + 1500 competency payment added to salary after completion of catering training)
• Mon-Fri 40hrs
• Travel time paid after first 30m at overtime rate
• Overtime 1.5x Monday to Friday, 2x Saturday and Sunday
• Call Out - 1 in 4 weeks
