Job summary

The R&A is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a localised mobile role across Surrey and Merton. You will perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance on commercial sites, fault-find complex systems, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

In addition to a competitive £45,000 salary, you will receive a company van with a fuel card for professional use and overtime opportunities, along with excellent training and progression prospects.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds / NVQ in Electrical discipline or equivalent.
• 18th Edition qualification.
• 2391 or equivalent Testing & Inspection qualification.
• Proven experience in commercial building services or facilities maintenance.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Proactive, reliable and professional mobile maintenance approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across commercial sites.
• Fault-find and repair lighting, power, emergency lighting and distribution boards.
• Respond to breakdowns and maintenance requests with effective repairs.
• Carry out routine inspections, testing and minor electrical works.
• Support general building services maintenance and remedial works.
• Travel between localised sites across Surrey and Merton, meeting timescales.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in line with health and safety and compliance.

A prestigious FM service provider is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their mobile engineering team, covering a localised portfolio of commercial sites across the Surrey and Merton areas. • Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a portfolio of commercial buildings.
• Fault-find and repair electrical systems including lighting, power, emergency lighting, distribution boards, and associated building services.
• Respond to breakdowns and maintenance requests, diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently.
• Carry out routine inspections, testing, and minor electrical works to ensure systems remain safe and fully operational.
• Support general building services maintenance and assist with remedial works where required.
• Travel between localised sites across Surrey and Merton, ensuring maintenance requirements are completed within agreed timescales.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety and compliance requirements.
  City & Guilds / NVQ qualification in an Electrical discipline.

• Proven experience within commercial building services or facilities maintenance.

  £45,000 per annum salary
• Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
