Job summary

Calibre Search is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a leading Facilities Management company in Exeter and the surrounding area. The role involves planned and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance across multiple retail sites.

The ideal candidate will hold Level 3 in electrical installations or maintenance and the 18th Edition, with a proven track record in site maintenance and a professional approach. A company vehicle is included in the package.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support other technicians with major or minor maintenance work.
• Complete all necessary PPMs and reactive maintenance to timescales.
• Prioritise and complete minor maintenance and repairs within set times.
• Ensure tools and equipment are always available and serviceable.
• Occasionally attend other sites within the cluster to carry out work.
• Work with colleagues to maintain high quality standards.
• Represent the company professionally to clients and colleagues.
• Carry out tasks in line with KPI targets.
• Monitor and update the Mercury system with live job updates.

Job description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join one of the country's leading Facilities Management companies working in Exeter and the surrounding area.

The ideal maintenance electrician will have a strong electrical background and hold electrical qualifications such as Level 3 in electrical installations or maintenance, and 18th edition as a minimum.

The role will be working as part of a team working at a number of retail sites in the Exeter, Taunton etc undertaking a range of building maintenance duties. The purpose of this role carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical plant.

Duties:

• Support other technicians with any major or minor maintenance work.
• Complete all necessary PPM's and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and as required.
• Prioritising and completing minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
• Ensuring all tools and equipment necessary to complete minor maintenance and repairs are always available and serviceable.
• Although aligned to an area for the purpose of PPM completion there may be times that the Technician will be required to attend other sites within the cluster to carry out work.
• Work with company and client colleagues to ensure laid-down standards of quality are always maintained.
• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times and develop a good working relationship with client and colleagues.
• Carry out all tasks in accordance with specific KPI's.
• Monitor and update the Mercury system accurately ensuring live job updates from you and your team at all times.

Salary / Package

• Basic Salary - £39,115 (including standby)

• Overtime rates 1.5x monday to friday, 2x saturdays and sundays
