Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Site based Maintenance Electrician for a site in Wetherby. You will carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance and have a clear route to HV qualifications funded by the employer.

The role includes an on-call rota, 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, a generous pension, and opportunities for training and progression within a facilities management team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation or Electrical Maintenance.
• Experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in facilities management or commercial environments.
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Genuine interest in developing a career in high voltage engineering.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults across the site
• Ensure all electrical maintenance is completed in line with health and safety regulations
• Assist with general building services maintenance where required
• Complete maintenance records and ensure all work is accurately documented
• Support the wider engineering team in maintaining the site's electrical infrastructure
• Undertake full HV training and qualifications, progressing towards an HV Electrician position

Site based Maintenance Electrician - Wetherby - Global Facilities Management Organisation

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician to join a facilities management team at a site in Wetherby.

This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically qualified engineer looking to develop their career, with a clear progression route into a High Voltage (HV) Electrician position. Full training and relevant HV qualifications will be fully funded by the employer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site, ensuring all electrical systems and equipment are maintained to a high standard.

• Competitive salary up to £44,000 per annum (depending on experience)
