Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a Site-based Maintenance Electrician for a site in Wetherby. The role develops towards HV electrician status with full HV training funded by the employer, while performing both planned and reactive electrical maintenance to a high standard.

The position offers a competitive salary up to £44,000 per year, participation in an on-call rota, 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, a generous pension, and clear progression opportunities within a facilities

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation or Electrical Maintenance is required.
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills are essential.
• Knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance.
• Proactive with ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults across the site.
• Ensure all electrical maintenance complies with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with general building services maintenance when required.
• Complete maintenance records and document all work accurately.
• Support the wider engineering team in maintaining the site's electrical infrastructure.
• Undertake full HV training and qualifications, progressing towards an HV Electrician position.

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician to join a facilities management team at a site in Wetherby. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically qualified engineer looking to develop their career, with a clear progression route into a High Voltage (HV) Electrician position. Full training and relevant HV qualifications will be fully funded by the employer. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site, ensuring all electrical systems and equipment are maintained to a high standard.
