Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Limited in Wetherby is seeking a Site based Maintenance Electrician to join a facilities management team. The role offers a clear progression route into High Voltage (HV) Electrician positions with full HV training funded by the employer.

Responsibilities include PPM and reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and documenting work while ensuring health and safety standards are met. On-call rota and development opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation or Electrical Maintenance.
• Experience in electrical maintenance, ideally within facilities management or a commercial environment.
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance.
• Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in developing a career within high voltage engineering.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults across the site
• Ensure all electrical maintenance is completed in line with health and safety regulations
• Assist with general building services maintenance where required
• Complete maintenance records and ensure all work is accurately documented
• Support the wider engineering team in maintaining the site's electrical infrastructure
• Undertake full HV training and qualifications, progressing towards an HV Electrician position
