Our client is seeking a Multi Trade Engineer to deliver high-quality contracts to various commercial clients, including Lidl, Argos, Bentley, Coca Cola, Ferrari, and Gordon Ramsay. They value consistency, competitive pricing, and quality service. The successful candidate will join their team in Watford, covering works across London and the Home Counties.

Position Overview: Maintenance Engineer (Watford)

1. Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) systems as per commercial maintenance contracts, including inspections, servicing, and preventive maintenance.
2. Respond promptly to emergency call-outs, diagnose M&E issues, and undertake urgent repairs to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
3. Utilize multi-trade skills to diagnose complex M&E problems, employing analytical thinking and problem-solving techniques.
4. Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty components, fixtures, and systems within M&E infrastructure, following industry standards and safety protocols.
5. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards in all maintenance and repair activities.
6. Maintain communication with clients, building managers, and stakeholders, providing updates on maintenance activities and addressing inquiries.

Position Requirements

1. Qualified to 18th Edition and possess NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, C&G 2391 or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 4 years electrical experience, adhering to national electrical safety standards.
3. Multi-skilled with experience and/or qualification in heating and ventilation (C&G 6188 or equivalent).
4. JIB Gold card or equivalent.
5. Valid ECS Card; IPAF and PASMA are preferred but not essential.
6. Driving license.
7. Ability to work within Health and Safety regulations.
