Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Location: Harrogate

Salary: £34,395 per annum (inclusive of call out / standby - £2,100 per annum)

Benefits: Company Van (for private and professional use), pension, health plan, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), overtime available

Hours: Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

On call / standby: 1 week in every 4

We are advertising this Maintenance Electrician role on behalf of our client ‘City Facilities Management’. City was established in 1985 and has grown to become one of the world’s largest privately held, integrated FM companies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair electrical, mechanical plant, and equipment within retail outlets for a key national customer efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Comply with health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular planned store visits, complete PPM tasks, and perform minor repairs as requested.
• Work will include multi-skill elements such as basic plumbing, joinery, building repairs, and core electrical tasks.

Qualifications required:

• Fully qualified electrician with City & Guilds 236 Parts 1 and 2 or City & Guilds 2330 Levels 2 and 3 and NVQ Level 3.
• 18th edition certificate.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• This role includes a call-out rota of 1 in every 4 weeks, covering evenings and weekends.
