Job Overview
My client is looking for a qualified and experienced Electrician to carry out a mix of responsive repairs, planned works, and electrical testing across their housing portfolio. This role involves working in both occupied and unoccupied properties, delivering high-quality installations and maintenance services in line with industry standards and health & safety regulations. You'll be part of a dedicated team ensuring repairs are completed efficiently, with a focus on first-time fixes and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out day-to-day electrical repairs, installations, and testing.

Deliver planned works, including full rewires and kitchen/bathroom upgrades.

Ensure all work complies with BS7671 and health & safety policies.

Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.

Use handheld devices for job management and accurate record-keeping.

Participate in an out-of-hours emergency call-out rota.

Maintain company vehicle and equipment to high standards.

Work collaboratively with other trades and support apprentice training.

Requirements

Time-served Electrician with relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).

18th Edition and City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent.

Experience in social housing is desirable.

Strong knowledge of BS7671 and inspection/testing procedures.

Full UK driving licence and ability to travel between sites.

Strong communication, time management, and customer care skills.
