Job description

Maintenance Technician (Electrical Bias) - TXM Recruit are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to work for a rapidly expanding retail maintenance team on a 12-week temp to perm scheme.

Location: Greater Belfast Area
Salary: £35,000 per year (Room to increase once taken permanently)
Hours: 8am to 5pm - Monday to Friday only
Overtime: Overtime is there at 1.5x

JIB Gold Card (or equivalent) & 18th Edition required.

Responsibilities

• General electrical reactive maintenance to the site.
• This may include changing lightbulbs, replacing taps or toilet seats hanging doors or fixing shelves. Patch plaster. Rendering, painting or minor carpentry and plumbing repairs.
• PPMs such as Legionella, Fire Alarm Testing, Sprinkler Testing (training provided).
• Building inspections including roof walks and building checks.
• Electrical bias repairs to building maintenance system, lighting and power upgrades, electrical conduits and circuit boards, distribution work, 3 phase equipment etc. (not all of this is required).
• Daily duties to ensure the tablet is updated, including reporting issues, H&S notes or sending emails. Technology used includes a PDA Tablet and Company provided Smartphone.
