EPUT is seeking a Maintenance Craftsperson based in Colchester to support the Estates Department across Essex. The role is plumbing biased but requires solid general building skills and a hands-on approach to repair, maintenance and operation of a wide range of building services, plant and equipment.

You will input data into computer systems, work with management, nursing and contractors, and take part in planned preventive maintenance and on-call out-of-hours duties.

Qualifikationen

• Plumbing bias with general building skills.
• Ability to operate and maintain plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems in buildings.

Aufgaben

• Carry out installation, repair and maintenance on building fabric and plant/equipment in line with standards.
• Participate in Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) worksheets and logbooks.
• Undertake duties using hand and power tools and test equipment.
• Diagnose faults in mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and repair them.
• Adhere to Health and Safety requirements and Trust policies.
• Liaise with Estates Officer, nursing, support staff and contractors as required.
