Job summary

The Estates and Facilities Department at the University of Nottingham is seeking a qualified Maintenance Craftsperson to perform planned and reactive maintenance across university buildings. Based at University Park, Jubilee Campus or the Queens Medical Centre, you will liaise with customers and other departments to deliver efficient, cost-effective work and maintain accurate records.

• NVQ 2 or equivalent in building services engineering.
• Experience in mechanical services/plumbing maintenance.
• Thorough understanding of heating and ventilation systems.

Responsibilities

• Undertake planned and reactive maintenance to University buildings.
• Liaise with customers and other university departments to ensure efficient, cost-effective work.
• Complete pre- and post-task documentation to maintain accurate records.
