Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to join Riverside Lodge Care Home in Rickmansworth. This luxury 75-bed home provides residential, dementia and respite care in an elegant setting, with a hair and beauty salon, cinema and landscaped gardens.

In this flexi/bank role, you’ll paint and decorate, carry out minor repairs, install fittings and help with routine inspections, safeguarding residents and maintaining a safe, well-presented environment in line with our standards across the

Qualifications

• Experience in caretaker, maintenance, facilities, or building services.
• Ability to carry out basic repairs and maintenance.
• Confident working independently and managing workload.
• Strong organisational skills and prioritisation.
• Good communication with residents, visitors, contractors and colleagues.
• Basic IT skills for reporting maintenance issues.

Responsibilities

• Painting and decorating
• Conduction minor repairs
• Replacing light bulbs and other features
• Hanging pictures and fittings
• Repairing or replacing door furniture
• Installing shelves and TV brackets
• Replacing stained or damaged ceiling tiles
• Carrying out routine inspections of the Home and reporting maintenance needs to the Housekeeping Manager
• Cleaning outdoor areas such as footpaths, waste and parking zones, including snow and ice clearance
• Assisting with moving furniture, including tables and hospital beds
• Undertaking additional duties, as required, to support the smooth operation of the Home, as directed by the Home Manager or Housekeeping Manager

Contract: Flexi/Bank

Hour: 0-10 hours per week

Shifts: 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday

Pay: £14.39 per hour weekdays & £14.89 per hour weekends

As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will provide compassionate person-cantered care and support residents with respect and dignity to maintain independence.
