Job summary

Linley and Simpson in Horsforth is hiring a Maintenance Coordinator on a full-time, permanent basis. You will respond to maintenance queries from tenants by phone and email and determine when a contractor visit is needed.

You will coordinate with landlords, tenants and contractors to arrange prompt repairs, keep all parties informed, obtain necessary consents and maintain clear records. The role offers £26,000–£28,000 salary plus an annual discretionary bonus and a structured training programme.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service environment handling inquiries.
• Ability to identify issues and determine if a contractor visit is required.
• Strong admin skills and IT literacy to manage maintenance workflows.
• Excellent communication with tenants, landlords and contractors.

Due to continue expansion, we're happy to offer you an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Coordinator. This is a full-time, permanent position located in Horsforth. The salary ranges from £26,000 to £28,000 depending on experience plus an annual discretionary bonus. Let's talk about the role. It involves:

• Dealing with tenants, over the telephone and via email, who have a maintenance issue with their property.
• You will identify the problem and assess if it requires a contractor to visit or if it is user error.
• You will be liaising with landlords, tenants and contractors to facilitate a prompt and professional approach to repairs and maintenance keeping all parties fully informed at all times and obtaining all necessary consents.

• Self-motivated, well organised and you will have experience of working within a customer service environment where you are reactive to customer’s needs
• Great administrative skills and attention to detail.
• IT Literacy
• Problem solving skills
• Ideally someone who has previous experience in a similar role, however it is not essential but a basic knowledge of household maintenance issues, will be an advantage, but not essential as a full structure training programme will be given to inexperienced candidates with the right qualities!
