Responsibilities

• Perform basic plumbing, painting, carpentry, electrical and decorative repairs.
• Maintain heating and air conditioning equipment.
• Audit rooms and public areas to assess repair requirements.
• Keep up to date records of all room audits and file appropriately.
• Respond efficiently to guest maintenance requests.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and cleaned after each shift.
• Assist the department with all other duties as required.
• Have full knowledge of the Company’s Health and Safety, Fire Safety and Emergency procedures.

Job summary:The Maintenance Assistant will carry out proactive and reactive general maintenance and upkeep of the Hotel interior and exterior, to ensure the property maintains high standards. There will be generalpainting and decorating, liaising with front desk and contractors to conduct reactive and proactive planned maintenance, as well as other technical duties as required.

• Auditing of rooms and public areas to assess repair requirements.
• To keep up to date records of all room audits and file appropriately
• Respond efficiently to all guest needs with respect to maintenance
• Ensureall tools and equipment aremaintained and cleaned after each shift
• Assist the department with all other duties as required
• Have full knowledge of the Company’s Health and Safety, Fire Safety and Emergency procedures
