Job summary

Crimson Hotels is seeking an experienced Maintenance Assistant to join our team in London. You will ensure H&S compliance, handle IT and engineering tasks, and keep hotel facilities in optimum condition through preventive maintenance and repairs.

Work closely with Front Office and Housekeeping to maintain high standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance experience across plumbing, electrical or joinery, is self-motivated, well presented and fluent in English.

• Previous experience in a similar maintenance role within a hotel or facilities environment.
• Relevant qualifications in general maintenance (plumbing, electrical or joinery)
• Ability to work on own initiative, prioritise workload and present well

Responsibilities

• Ensure health & safety compliance and IT/engineering tasks within the hotel.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and repairs on plant and machinery (heat, power, air conditioning, refrigeration).

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Assistant to join our team.

The Role

As a Maintenance Assistant you will assume responsibility for H&S, IT and Engineering within the hotel. You will play a key role in keeping hotel facilities in optimum operating condition by performing preventive maintenance and repairs on hotel plant and machinery (including heat, power, air conditioning and refrigeration). You will work closely with your colleagues in Front Office and Housekeeping to ensure the hotels are kept in an excellent state of repair.

The Person

As well as having previous experience in a similar role, you will have relevant qualifications in general maintenance work incorporating a variety of plumbing, electrical or joinery work. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative without close supervision and be able to prioritise your workload. You will have a can-do attitude, be adaptable and be able to respond flexibly to different requests and situations. Finally, you will have a good command of the English language and be very well presented.
