Nottingham City Council is seeking Casual Front of House Assistants to be the welcoming face of Theatre Royal & Royal Concert Hall. You will assist patrons, manage access, and help ensure smooth operations during shows and daytime hours.
The role requires confidence, excellent communication and time management, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Training and a uniform are provided; hybrid working is mentioned for some roles.

Front of House Assistants are key to ensuring the smooth running of the building, both during shows and during the day. They are among the public faces of the organisation and play a key part in ensuring our patrons are always placed at its heart.
Our ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate an attention to detail, be confident, approachable and able to remain calm during pressurised situations. They will have a natural flair for observational problem-solving, be self-motivating, and have excellent communication andtime management skills. Elements of the job can be quite physically demanding.
Key duties include: helping and assisting customers, visiting companies and staff throughout the shift; opening the building to the public on time, making sure it is locked and secured at the end of each day; receiving deliveries and moving stock; ensuring the building is presentable and clean for visitors; setting up function suites.
