Job summary

Copely Developments is looking for a Maintenance Apprentice to support safe and reliable operation of manufacturing plant and equipment. You will train toward the Engineering Maintenance Technician - Dual Discipline Level 3 apprenticeship, developing knowledge, skills and behaviours for planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical and control systems.

Requirements include GCSE English & Maths, a genuine interest in engineering, willingness to learn, safety

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English and Maths, or commitment to achieving them during the apprenticeship.
• Genuine interest in engineering, maintenance and manufacturing environments.
• Willingness to learn electrical, mechanical and control engineering principles.
• Commitment to working safely and following procedures.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate clearly with others.
• Motivation to complete a 48-month apprenticeship programme.

Job description

The Maintenance Apprentice will be trained to support the safe and reliable operation of manufacturing plant and equipment at Copely Developments. Working towards the Engineering Maintenance Technician - Dual Discipline Level 3 apprenticeship, the apprentice will develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance activities across electrical, mechanical and control systems, contributing to business performance, safety, quality and continuous improvement.

• GCSEs (or predicted) in English and Mathematics, or commitment to achieving them during the apprenticeship (in line with apprenticeship funding rules)
• Genuine interest in engineering, maintenance and manufacturing environments
• Willingness to learn electrical, mechanical and control engineering principles
• Commitment to working safely and following procedures
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate clearly with others
• Reliable, punctual and motivated to complete a 48-month apprenticeship programme
