Job summary

Copely Developments is offering a Maintenance Apprentice role to develop skills for safe, reliable operation of manufacturing plant and equipment. You will work towards the Engineering Maintenance Technician – Dual Discipline Level 3 apprenticeship, gaining hands-on experience across electrical, mechanical and control systems.

You will learn to perform planned, preventative and reactive maintenance, contribute to safety, quality and continuous improvement, and grow into a long‑term engineering

Qualifications

• GCSEs (or predicted) in English and Mathematics (or commitment to achieving during the apprenticeship)
• Genuine interest in engineering, maintenance and manufacturing environments
• Willingness to learn electrical, mechanical and control engineering principles
• Commitment to working safely and following procedures
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate clearly with others
• Reliable, punctual and motivated to complete a 48-month apprenticeship programme

Responsibilities

• Support safe and reliable operation of manufacturing plant and equipment across electrical, mechanical and control systems
• Contribute to planned, preventative and reactive maintenance activities
