Job summary

TT Electronics in Barnstaple is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to directly manufacture Magnetics based products to detailed drawings and schedules. The role runs a 39 hour week, Monday to Thursday, with an intensive onboarding training of around 12 weeks.

The ideal candidate will follow strict quality and safety standards, demonstrate proactive improvement, and learn quickly across a low-volume product mix while contributing to a zero-defects culture.

Qualifications

• Proactive in an improvements culture with continuous improvement.
• Interest in winding, soldering, assembly and wiring operations.
• After training, work from internal documents/customer drawings to recognised standards.
• The product mix is low volume; learn new products quickly.
• Thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Strong attention to detail and concentration.
• Team player able to work with schedules and deadlines.
• Strong manual dexterity for very small components.
• Zero tolerance to defects.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, check and follow detailed build instructions to high accuracy.
• Manufacture products timely within costed time restraints.
• Complete tasks in a Quality Accredited environment per aerospace controls.
• Maintain safe behaviour and ensure a safe working area.
