Job summary

JM&Co. Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Production Technician to build specialised sensors and electronic products from component preparation to final testing within a small, friendly team. You will receive structured training across soldering, crimping, wiring, testing and potting.

The role offers permanent employment with a 35-hour week, early finishes, ongoing training, a supportive culture and solid progression opportunities near Towcester.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within production, manufacturing, electronic assembly or engineering is essential.
• Training and cross-training will be provided to cover multiple processes.

Responsibilities

• Assembling sensors and electronic components.
• Fine soldering, crimping and cable preparation.
• Applying heat shrink, potting compounds and protective coatings.
• Using hand tools, test equipment and production machinery.
• Following assembly drawings, wiring instructions and work instructions.
• Inspecting and testing completed products.
• Recording production information and serial numbers.
• Packing and labeling finished goods.
• Completing quality checks and supporting stocktaking.
