Job summary

TT Electronics Barnstaple is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to directly manufacture Magnetics-based products to detailed drawings and schedules. This role is based on a 39 hour week, Monday to Thursday, with an intensive onboarding programme of around 12 weeks.

Qualifications

• Take a proactive approach in an improvements culture with a view of continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate an interest in Winding, Soldering, Assembly, Wiring operations experience.
• After initial training be able to work in accordance with internal documents/customer drawings/schedules to recognised standards.
• The product mix is low volume, multiple products and therefore requires the ability to learn new products quickly.
• Thrive under pressure and deliver against deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, check & follow detailed build instructions to a high degree of accuracy.
• Manufacture products in a timely manner in line with expected costed time restraints.
• Complete manufacturing tasks within a Quality Accredited environment, in accordance with both General Manufacturing and Aerospace controls.
• Demonstrate safe behaviour at all times, and ensure yourself and others in your working areas are safe and not exposed to significant risk.
• Work within a zero harm culture.
