Job summary

TT Electronics Barnstaple is seeking a Test & or Inspection Engineer to test and record manufactured or repaired products to internal or external specifications with high accuracy, using ATE or hand testing equipment.

You will test or inspect in a quality-controlled manufacturing environment, maintaining a zero-defects mindset, and contributing to continuous improvement while adhering to 6S standards.

Qualifications

• A proven track record of safety and teamwork.
• Annual eye examination and colour vision checks required.
• Flexible in approach and willing to learn new skills.
• Willing to undertake IPC 610/620 quality controls as necessary.
• Close attention to internal specs/test programmes and customer drawings.
• Ability to work in a 6S environment.
• Zero defects, right first-time attitude.
• Ability to meet KPI targets for quality, performance and output.

Responsibilities

• Test and/or inspect product in a timely manner within costed time restraints.
• Complete test or inspection tasks in a Quality Accredited environment per manufacturing controls.
• Maintain zero tolerance to defects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and a proactive improvement culture.
• Work within a zero harm culture.
