Job summary

Acorn by Synergie in the Yeovil area is seeking a Machining Trainee / Technician to join our precision engineering team. The role offers full training, a permanent day shift, and a 35-hour week, with salary between £12.71 and £14.00 per hour.

You will carry out machining and inspection tasks, read engineering drawings, follow instructions, and help maintain quality and safety standards in a small supportive production environment.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Engineering qualification preferred.
• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and work to high standards.
• Previous machining experience is advantageous for Technician-level applicants.

Our client is seeking a Machining Trainee / Technician to join their friendly production team, manufacturing high-precision engineering components.

Key Responsibilities
