The Best Connection is recruiting a Machine Operator for an ongoing role in a precision engineering environment in CV3, Coventry. The role involves operating machinery, loading/unloading components, monitoring machines and performing basic quality checks.

You should have some manufacturing experience, be hands-on, with good attention to detail, reliable, and eager to learn. Training is provided and there is an opportunity to go permanent after a temporary period.

MACHINE OPERATORS WANTED - CV3

Are you looking for an ongoing opportunity within a precision engineering and motorsport environment, with the chance to develop your skills?

We are currently recruiting Machine Operators to join a busy engineering business based in CV3, producing precision components for sectors including motorsport, automotive and aerospace.

This is a great opportunity for someone with some previous machinery or manufacturing experience who is looking to build on their existing skills and progress within an engineering environment.

The role will involve:

• Operating machinery as part of the production process
• Loading and unloading components
• Monitoring machinery during production
• Carrying out basic quality checks on finished components
• Following production and quality procedures
• Keeping the work area clean, organised and safe
• Working as part of a small, hands-on engineering team
• Learning to operate a range of machinery through full training

What we're looking for:

• Previous basic machine operating or manufacturing experience
• Someone hands-on who enjoys practical work
• Good attention to detail, particularly when checking components
• Reliable and punctual
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Engineering or machining experience would be beneficial, but you do not need to be highly experienced

The role offers:

• £12.71 per hour
• Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
• Early finish Friday: 7:30am - 12:30pm
• 39 hours per week
• Ongoing position
• Full training provided
• Opportunity to become permanent following a successful temporary period
