Workshop Recruitment in Chichester is seeking a Machinery Sales Executive to join a family-run business supplying specialist equipment across the South of England. The role is full-time, office-based, with a salary Up to £40,000 depending on experience.

You will develop long-term relationships with customers, understand their requirements and guide them from enquiry to purchase and aftercare, in a consultative sales environment rather than cold calling.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of machinery/large technical products.
• Confident, engaging and customer-focused communication style.
• Genuine ability to build and maintain lasting relationships.

Responsibilities

• Generate and develop machinery sales opportunities from initial enquiry to completion.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable machinery solutions.
• Promote and develop the company's machinery product portfolio.
• Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the sales process.
• Attend occasional trade shows and industry events.
• Work collaboratively with the sales team to manage stock levels.
• Support social media activity and product promotion.
