Confidential, a family-run business supplying specialist machinery across the South of England, seeks a Machinery Sales Executive in Chichester. The role is office-based, full-time, and focused on consultative inbound sales, developing long-term customer relationships from enquiry to purchase and aftercare.

You will represent machinery across agriculture, construction, groundscare and forestry, with manufacturer training and a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and develop machinery sales opportunities from initial enquiry to completion.
  • Build and nurture relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable machinery solutions.
  • Promote and develop the company’s machinery product portfolio.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the sales process.
  • Attend occasional trade shows and industry events.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to manage stock levels.
  • Support social media activity and product promotion.

Sales Executive - Machinery Sales
Chichester
Full-Time Permanent Office Based

Are you passionate about machinery or technical products and enjoy building strong customer relationships? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Machinery Sales Executive to join a successful, family-run business supplying specialist equipment across the South of England. The Machinery Sales Executive role is about much more than simply closing sales. This is NOT a cold calling sales role, but more consultative with inbound sales conversions. You'll develop long-term relationships with new and existing customers, understand their requirements and guide them through the process from initial enquiry to purchase and aftercare.

As a Machinery Sales Executive, you'll represent a range of respected machinery products across sectors including agriculture, construction, groundscare and forestry. You'll have the opportunity to develop your product knowledge through manufacturer-specific training while becoming a valued member of a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities

Salary

Up to £40,000 per year depending on experience

Working Hours

8am - 5pm Monday to Friday (1:4 Saturday mornings may be introduced with a Friday afternoon given in lieu)
