Job summary

Diageo in Moray House, Glasgow, is seeking an Engineering Safety Compliance Engineer for a full-time, permanent role. You will lead machinery safety programs, develop standards and PUWER assessments, and collaborate with CAPEX and suppliers to ensure compliance with BS/EN/ISO safety standards across sites.

You will apply electrical and safety qualifications, drive incident investigations, and support design and validation activities to maintain high safety performance across the manufacturing

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in a similar industrial environment.
• Knowledge in CE marking.
• Knowledge in machinery safety function design per EN ISO 13849-1/ EN 62061.
• Knowledge of PUWER regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement safety compliance for machinery and equipment across sites.
• Develop and update machinery safety standards and PUWER assessments.
• Collaborate with CAPEX and suppliers to ensure safety compliance to BS/EN/ISO standards.
• Manage incident investigations and root cause analysis with action tracking.
• Provide guidance on electrical drawings, SRCS validation, and safety documentation.
