Blow Moulding Machine Operator (SIDEL Preferred)
Location: Bromborough
Salary: £40,000 + overtime
Shifts: 3 days on / 4 days off – 12-hour shifts (6–6)
Contract: Until July (potential to extend)
Experience: Minimum 5 years

Overview

We are recruiting an experienced Blow Moulding Machine Operator to join our production team in Bromborough. Candidates with SIDEL experience are strongly preferred. This is a contract position running until July, with the potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor blow moulding machinery, ideally SIDEL equipment
• Perform routine maintenance, adjustments, and cleaning
• Troubleshoot faults to reduce downtime
• Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet specification
• Maintain accurate production and shift documentation
• Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams
• Ensure a safe and compliant working environment at all times

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience operating blow moulding machinery
• SIDEL machine experience preferred
• Strong mechanical and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts on a 3‑on / 4‑off rotation
• High level of attention to detail
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
