Job summary

Kinetic plc is recruiting a Machine Operator for the Wallsend site in England. The role offers rotating two-, three-, or night shifts with hourly rates from £14.97 to £17.17, based on shift. Contract: Temp to Perm opportunities, with duties across manufacturing and quality documentation.

Based in Wallsend, you will join a busy production environment, set up and monitor machinery, and ensure safety procedures are followed. Prior manufacturing experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar manufacturing role.
• Experience operating a range of manufacturing machinery.
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing machinery.
• Complete production and quality documentation.
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations at all times.
• Follow Standard Operating Instructions (SOIs) and Risk Assessments.
• Support assembly and testing operations as required.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are returned to their designated locations after use.
• Carry out additional tasks as requested by the shift supervisor.
