Job summary

Kinetic Industrial in Dukinfield is seeking a hands-on Machine Operator for a leading multinational manufacturer. The role operates on a 3-shift rotation (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am) with full training and clear progression opportunities.

You will load materials, position coils, and perform routine machine maintenance while ensuring safety and quality. Benefits include training from machine assistant to fully skilled operator, with potential for permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience.
• Reliable with good timekeeping; able to work all three shifts.
• Hands-on with a willingness to learn.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely at all times.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Load materials onto production machinery.
• Handle and position coils using lifting equipment.
• Pack coils of various sizes to meet customer specifications.
• Carry out routine machine maintenance, including cleaning and basic checks.
• Keep the work area clean, safe and organised.
• Progress to full slitting machine operation.
