Machine Operator – Grantham

Salary: £25,233 pa
Start date: January
Location: Grantham
Type: Permanent

Overview

We are recruiting a machine operator to train on the profile burner and debour products. This role will join our Grantham based client’s team for a permanent position beginning in January.

Responsibilities

• Load correct programmes on the profile burner for the work required.
• Deburr all products once burnt out with hand tools and stack them on pallets.
• Keep the work area tidy.
• Work with the supervisor to identify stock levels.
• Follow work instructions and follow work orders.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm.
• Friday 7.30am – 12.30pm.

Qualifications

The role is suitable for anyone who has worked as a machine operator in engineering, operated machinery such as laser cutters or CNC type machines, read engineering schematics, and has experience with deburring. This is a physical role.
