Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe in Bromborough is seeking a Machine Minder to join our Production Team. You will operate and maintain line machinery to maximise output while keeping quality.

The role requires a proactive, safety-conscious individual with a mechanical background and the ability to work with limited supervision across early and late shifts. We offer a supportive environment with opportunities for progression and a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Machine Minder or similar role within Food Manufacturing is desirable.
• Be proactive with strong interpersonal, prioritisation and communication skills.
• Be able to work with minimal supervision and maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and maintaining all line machinery & computer equipment at the beginning of the shift and throughout
• Ensuring the machinery is adjusted to the required setting for each specific job on the plan
• Keeping areas stocked with consumables
• Endeavour to keep waste levels to an absolute minimum and continuously work to reduce these levels
• Overseeing department activity, by ensuring all aspects of the area are running at the correct pace
• Cleaning and maintaining machinery and work areas to be at a high standard at all times
• Attend daily meetings when required or in the absence of the Line Leader

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for Machine Minder to join our Production Team at the Bromborough site.

Previous experience as Machine Minder or similar role within Food Manufacturing environment is desirable.

Shift Patterns Available

• 5 out of 6 days
• 7:00 am to 15:30 pm & 16:30am - 01:00am

In your role you will ensure that all equipment is operated correctly and efficiently, whilst carrying out appropriate frontline maintenance to maintain and improve the equipment performance and maximise product output whilst maintaining product quality.

Key Responsibilities
