Job summary

Dunbia Group, a leading meat producer in the UK, is seeking motivated individuals to join our production team in Cross Hands, Wales. The role involves operating production equipment, following SWPs and quality controls, and maintaining accurate records to maximise efficiency.

We value numerical ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety. Training will be provided; prior mechanical experience is desirable, and no sponsorship is available for overseas applicants.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies and SWPs.
• Work safely and unsupervised to deliver on shift.
• Set up and operate production equipment per GMP and SWPs.
• Assemble and configure key production equipment and maintain optimal settings.
• Address audit non-conformances to repairs.
• Support team leaders in resolving line issues.
• Report material usage to procurement to ensure spare parts supply.

Job description

Shifts

• Sun 6:00 – 18:00
• Mon 6:00 – 18:30
• Tue, Wed & Thurs: 15:00 – 23:00
• Fri & Sat: Off

Pay rate: £13:45

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance, using SWPs to carry out all tasks.
• The ability to work safely & unsupervised to deliver allocated work on a shift-by-shift basis
• Set up and operate production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and SWPs.
• Assembly & effective set up of key production equipment whilst retaining records of optimum settings to maximise efficiency.
• Follow Hard Plastic & Glass audit non-conformances to effect repairs to damaged items.
• Support team leaders in rectifying minor issues on the line
• Report all material usages to engineering procurement to ensure spares supply is maintained.
