Job summary

Avara Foods is looking for a Machine Minder to join our Caistor site in North Lincolnshire. You will perform machine interventions and first-line troubleshooting to keep lines running in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of English and numeracy.
• Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
• Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks.
• Experience in a production environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform start up and close down procedures.
• Minimise downtime of equipment through correct start up and change over of lines.
• Report live data to Engineering and Production teams.
• Help identify and implement workplace improvements.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels.
• Carry out Production Operative duties when required to keep the line running efficiently.

About the role:

As a Machine Minder you’ll be undertaking machine interventions and first line trouble shooting to ensure machinery is running smoothly.

You’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.

• Performing start up and close down procedures.
• Minimising downtime of equipment through the correct start up and change over of lines.
• Reporting live data to Engineering and Production teams.
• Helping identify and implementing workplace improvements.
• Monitoring and maintaining stock levels.
