Job summary

Avara Foods is seeking a Quality Auditor for our Caistor site in North Lincolnshire. You will ensure product quality, safety and integrity across production in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Responsibilities include checking ingredients, sampling, calibrating machinery and recording data. You will contribute to CCP validation and GMP audits, support external audits and collaborate with the QA team.

Qualifications

• Good level of English and basic numeracy skills.
• Experience in production/manufacturing is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

• Take samples and perform quality checks on products.
• Ensure machinery is calibrated to correct levels.
• Accurately record data and upload to the quality system.
• CCP validation and GMP audits.
• Escalate adverse findings to Process Leaders and Managers.

About the Role:

Working Hours

We have 2 positions available on the following shift patterns

• Monday - Friday 07:00 - 16:00
• Monday - Friday 09:00 - 18:00

About the role:

As a Quality Auditor you'll be ensuring product quality, safety and integrity across production. So you'll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.

• Checking and controlling ingredients, packing and products against customer specifications.
• Taking samples and carrying our quality checks on products.
• Ensuring machinery and equipment is calibrated to the correct levels.
• Accurately recording data and uploading to the quality system.
• CCP Validation and GMP audits.
• Escalating adverse findings to Process Leaders and Managers.
• Supporting with external audits.
• Supporting the QA Team Leader and QA Manager.

What you'll need to be successful:

• Good level of English and basic numeracy skills.
• The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
• Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks.
• Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential.
